Metal reinforcing plate welded to the center of the rear body, where the 9 inch third member may come into contact with the floor. Cut from one of our many parts cars. Likely originally had a Ford part number of 4731. Clean cores are required for this service, cores that are turned in for this service that are kinked, heavily pitted or mouldings with several holes drilled into them are not worth restoring. That being said, often all of the gravel pitting usually found at the front cannot completely be removed as it would result in a product that will be too thin.
