These are actually 1971-73 Mustang wheel lip mouldings, which have a much different shape / contour than Cougar and will need minor modifications to make fit. This is a core five piece set of front windshield mouldings for a 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar. These mouldings need restoration as they are dull, scratched and dinged. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

This single port version was used in the latter part of 1967 and all of 1968. Keep in mind we have units that are not as clean looking but still hold vacuum for about half the price. Cougar part number C7WY-13A185-C headlamp vacuum reservoir.
