Headlamp center shaft actuator rod clips. Sold individually, two clips needed, one on each side of the shaft. Not really needed, probably kept the shaft ends from moving during installation. We have found two different sizes of these clips. No pattern between 1969 and 1970.

Used clip for attaching the moulding / trim to the front fender extension on the Mercury Cougar. Faded but good used emblem with aluminum foil background. If you push on the swedged aluminum studs from the backside these will easily remove. The standard grill emblem with a walking cat uses the same stud configuration as XR7 so you can exchange emblems from one to another.
