Looks identical to the OEM Ford plates, has new starter ring installed. Has the correct 28oz. weight for vintage 289/302 engines. The 5.0 liter engines used a 50oz. imbalance.

We think that this jumper or adapter wiring lead, was used in 1967 when the Neutral safety switch changed from two separate plugs to a single square 4 combination plug. There could have been an overlap where the plug from the firewall to the 14401 main under dash harness changed to the single square 4 combination plug. We have also observed the two separate neutral safety switch plugs plugged directly into the updated square 4 plug.

Correct for any 1967-73 Ford product with a tilt or fixed column. The repros are fine, but the end knob is distinctly different. Extremely difficult part to find in NOS form and very sought after.
