This is a the economy version of our lower control arm assembly, with a spot welded on reinforcing plate. We are sorry, but we just cannot recommend this part. The Scott Drake premium version of this lower control arm is superior and costs less. This listing is for a premium quality pair of 1968 - 1969 original strut rods in grade "A" used condition. What sets them apart from our grade "B" rods is they have a smooth finish, no pock marks from rust. This is for the person who is doing a show car and wants the very best, original correct parts that can be found. Our grade "B" rods are just as straight as our grade "A" used rods but the will show pock marks from rust after you clean them. One can fill and sand but it will take time. These are still a better value than the Chinese rods we sell.*Note - 1970-73 strut rods work equally well.

Used factory 3/4 inch sway bar for the FE 390 engine of 1969. This bar was factory identified with a single 'Yellow' and a single 'Blue' paint stripe. This bar is not to be confused with the Competition Handling Package sway bar which was optional on any 1969 Cougar. This factory used front sway bar does not include any mounting brackets or end link kits. Ford part # C9ZZ-5482-C.

This reproduction universal joint fits the differential end of the drive axle and is used on all Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs equipped with the 289, 302, 351 Windsor as well as most 351 Clevelands (see chart). Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles.
