Used clip for mounting the vacuum modulator steel line or tube on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with C4 or automatic transmission. We think that this jumper or adapter wiring lead, was used in 1967 when the Neutral safety switch changed from two separate plugs to a single square 4 combination plug. There could have been an overlap where the plug from the firewall to the 14401 main under dash harness changed to the single square 4 combination plug. We have also observed the two separate neutral safety switch plugs plugged directly into the updated square 4 plug.

Attractive reproduction of a very popular, over the counter Mercury dress-up accessory. The only Cougars that came from the factory with this real wood shifter were the 1970 Eliminator and 1968 XR7G. We also carry the original plastic covered (simulated leather) reproduction XR7 shift handles in several colors but this real leather handle comes in black only.

Very hard to find 69 - 70 Shelby / 67 - 69 Cougar 4 speed shifter knob. Almost a year in development was spent to get as close as possible to original N.O.S. sample. These very rarely come up for sale used and when they do, they are expensive. Knob insert is made of metal just like original not brass. Knob also has the correct groove in middle of body like 69 version and not the earlier version which does not. Not technically correct for a 67-8 Cougar, as the 67-8 does not have the groove in...
