Description: Very rare over the counter, Group II dress up accessory item for any 289 / 302 small block engine. In excellent used condition with no cracks, stripped threads or corrosion damage. The nicest you will ever find. This over the counter Intake was marketed by Shelby American in the Cougar catalog titled "How To Sharpen Your Cat's Claws" Shelby casting number S2MS-9424-A. This intake is basically the same one you so often see with COBRA lettering on it. This particular intake was found on a 1968 GT350 Shelby sitting on top of the original J code 302. The owner told me it was put on many years ago at the Ford dealership (in lieu of the out of stock at the time COBRA intake). This item is new to our stock as of 12-20-2009.
