Description: The May-June 2007 issue of Legendary Ford Magazine is a special commemorative
piece celebrating 40 Years of Cougar! This is an LFM Special Issue,
packed with Mercury's personal luxury performance car. It features
"Cougar One", the very first "official" Cat from L-M. The issue continues
with a '68 XR7-G, a '68 GTE, a '69 XR-7 428 CJ, a '70 "Boss 302"
Eliminator, and a '71 Convertible packed with a 429 CJ and 4-speed!
There's plenty more Cougar stuff too: Top 5 Fastest Cougars, a Cougar ID
Guide, Cougar editorials, a "Traveling Road Show" Cougar from the
mid-'70's, and even a Cougar Station Wagon (yes, they made them!). Never before has an auto magazine featured this many Cougars in one issue and it is doubtful that any magazine has given this much ink to Cougars in a full years worth of issues! You may want to get two issues, one to read and one to cut up for wall art. Great gift idea for the Cougar enthusiast in your family.*NOTE* (1.) We do not do the $19.99 pricing tactic. If it is twenty bucks, it is $20.00! How many decades have retailers been doing this? Do you the customer really feel like you are paying any less than twenty whole dollars? (2.) When the quality of an item is substandard we do not claim it is "good" or just elect to say nothing, we call it like it is... We actually use words like "crap" and "pathetic" to describe some of our parts listed within our online catalog. Why would we list such parts? Sometimes you the customer need something to "get you by" until you can restore your original, find or afford NOS or wait until a decent reproduction is available. (3.) We try hard not to display "attitude" on our site or over the phone. We have been doing the "Cougar thing" all our lives and do not know it all and certainly do not expect you to know it all. (4.) Our photos are not taken by a professional but they are taken by people who live and breath Cougars! We know what details you want to see and we will provide them. If you feel there is not adequate information on a product listed here, then we want to know. Often we can update the site while you wait because if it matters to you, most likely there are many others who feel the same way. (5.) Our customers are not who I strive to please the most. Sorry, you are number two. The Lord Jesus Christ is who I need to be working the hardest to please. If that is in place then you too will be served and honored, not only as a customer but as an infinitely valuable human being.
