    Description

This dealer option was installed for people who were not comfortable with the height of their seats. This same kit was used on many intermediate Ford Products from 1965-1970. One kit does one bucket seat or one bench seat.

    Ford part # C6OZ-6362016-A.

The screw on clips were included in the kit so the spacer would stay in place as the seat was guided into the four holes in the seat riser. Often these clips are cracked or missing and we cannot guarantee all four will come with the kit you order. A similar clip is available new but is is not too hard to install the seats without them in place.

Here is what many of the clips look like. Notice the extra length of the seat track mounting screws. They have a total length of 2 1/4".

These will look like they were dug up from Pompeii, but are still sound. I'll clean them off, maybe use rust converting paint on the bells, and in they'll go. I'm 5'7'', formerly 5'8'' before 4 or 5 bad discs, so these old Ford items will go in gladly.

These extensions have made my 73 Cougar into a different & more comfortable car. Although only lifting the seat by about an inch, the difference is incredible. And, my 5'2" wife can now see over the dashboard without have to prop up her lucious butt with a couple cushions!!

Even though the parts are used from a parted out car, they were in great order, and with a squirt of black paint looked like new. Very easy to fit; with the seat out of the car only a couple of minutes each. Highly recommended if you are less than six feet tall.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
