Also called a pumpkin, 3.00:1 open ratio. 1967 9 inch third members did not originally come with fill plugs. The back of the housing had the oil fill plug. You can mix and match 9 inch assemblies from 1967-1970, just make sure that you have at least one fill plug. Check your door tag under "Axle". 1967 code 1

#373820-S Copper washer for attaching the 8 inch or 9 inch third members to the axle housings. Steel washers will leak, made from copper which is a soft metal and seals under the attaching nuts. Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Takes 10 washers total for both 8 and 9 inch rear ends. *Tip - It is a good idea to inspect or replace your old washers, many times they have tool marks from the housing or nuts that cause small troublesome leaks.

This eyelet bushing is made from higher grade rubber and unlike the NOS and other reproductions has a solid center shaft. The center shaft of this reproduction is a flat piece of steel that is bent into a circle to make the shaft for the eyelet bolt to go through, just like NOS.  Two per car, these are used on one end of the leaf springs and the shackles are used at the other end. This 3 degree wedge properly sets the pinion angle for the drive shaft. This is a Cougar specific part which is needed due to the longer than normal rear leaf spring length. There are other wedges, but we seldom see them. This 3 degree marked wedge is the most prolific one. Feel secure in using these as a replacement.  Sold individually, two required per vehicle. Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. Since they are made from stainless steel, you can polish them if and when they get scratched. This area of the door often cracks due to the stress caused by worn out hinges. This twelve piece kit includes six screws and six form fitting washers to reinforce the recessed areas that often crack.
