This very rare part is unique to the 1970 - 1971 CJ and SCJ C6. There was no 390 option in 1970 - 71. Sales were down on the CJ equipped Cougars in 70-71 making this one very hard part to obtain.  We have determined that this part only fits Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Reproduction locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column. This unit works in conjunction with a pin and is responsible for locking the tilt column in place. In many cases, the pin tends to move out of place and break or chip the teeth of the locking pawl. This is a good used main power window wiring harness that passes through the firewall, travels along the passenger side engine compartment and mates the the rectangular power window relay. Fits 1971-73 Mercury Cougars with factory power windows. This is a Grade B harness that has been tested, inspected and repaired as needed. Stainless steel throttle pedal surround trim. Self attaching to part number D1ZZ-9735-B. This used part may have some wear, but will not have broken tabs. Fine steel wool really shines these up. It appears that this trim may not have been used all the way through 1973. Ford probably eliminated it as a cost saving measure.

1971 - 1973 Convertible spare tire mounting, J bolt. MPC lists the total length as 9-1/2 inches long, and 5 inches threaded. Application is for hubcap type wheels only, those of you fortunate to have the style steel wheels need C8OZ-1448-A above.

Chromed engine oil dipstick as found on all 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 429CJ engines (C or J Code). Top of the shield to the dip stick is 16.23 inches.
