1971 - 1973 Cougar wiper control switch knob. In early (May 3, 1971) Mercury changed the knob. This is the later knob. Hex shaped knob, good used, may show some minor wear.

Chrome air cleaner lid removed from a Q code, 351-4V or 351CJ 1972 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang, likely Torino and Mercury mid sized cars too. Ford / Mercury have had various part numbers listed for this basic lid over the years. The primary difference was the original lids included an engine size sticker. That is why there are so many listings, the basic part number is 9661. Chrome will be used, and will have some defects to the plating.

Reproduction locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column. This unit works in conjunction with a pin and is responsible for locking the tilt column in place. In many cases, the pin tends to move out of place and break or chip the teeth of the locking pawl. This is a the economy version of our lower control arm assembly, with a spot welded on reinforcing plate. We are sorry, but we just cannot recommend this part. The Scott Drake premium version of this lower control arm is superior and costs less. This is a good used main power window wiring harness that passes through the firewall, travels along the passenger side engine compartment and mates the the rectangular power window relay. Stainless steel throttle pedal surround trim. Self attaching to part number D1ZZ-9735-B. This used part may have some wear, but will not have broken tabs. Fine steel wool really shines these up. It appears that this trim may not have been used all the way through 1973. Ford probably eliminated it as a cost saving measure.

1971 - 1973 Convertible spare tire mounting, J bolt. MPC lists the total length as 9-1/2 inches long, and 5 inches threaded. Application is for hubcap type wheels only, those of you fortunate to have the style steel wheels need C8OZ-1448-A above.
