The inner Wheel house is very different Mustang vs. Cougar and this used custom cut will be needed if your existing pan needs replaced all the way to the wheel houses. Reproduction lower rear window channel patch panel for the Mercury Cougar. It is fairly common for the rear window channel area to develop rust, especially with vinyl topped cars. *NOTE* If you are going t install this part on a Cougar with a vinyl top, you will have to drill holes for the vinyl top moulding / trim.

Floor tunnel body reinforcing plate for the floor shifter on any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or 1965-68 Ford Mustang. Used plate spot welded to the underside of the floor. Has threaded inserts installed. These are bolted to the rear frame rails and were used to tie the car down to the transporter for the journey from the factory to the dealer. The dealer was supposed to remove them and return them for a credit as instructed by the dealer. Notice the sticker on the rear license plate frame (decal is available in the decal section)?
