These convertible black interior "A" pillar mouldings are sold as a pair only. The texture and contour look good when installed but when turned over you will see they are thicker than original and are made from a different material than original. These may require some grinding of high spots on the back side to make them fit flush against the windshield post. Replaces Ford part # C9ZZ-7603598-B and C9ZZ-7603599-B.

This short harness attaches to the black power wire coming from the starter solenoid and then attaches to the harness that brings the power back to the convertible top pump or power sunroof motor. This harness is for the 1969 XR7 or 1969 Standard and the 1970 Standard but it is not correct for the 1970 XR7 with power sunroof or convertible top as the 1970 XR7 used a rocker switch mounted in the dash pad located above the AC or AC block off plate. *NOTE* Side by side comparisons between 1969...

This short section of wiring attaches to the terminal post on the starter solenoid that faces towards the firewall. The other end is a female plug that incorporates a fusible link. If your switch were to get stuck or the frame got in a bind with continued power being applied this is the portion that would blow saving you from a costly wiring "melt-down". This same part was used on both XR7 and standard Cougars with a power sunroof or convertible top.
