Great way to update your sound system without cutting door panels or other original parts. Great fit and finish, easy installation. Pioneer speakers are 4ohms, 6 1/2" coaxial (2 way) 160 watts per speaker, for a total of 320 watts max output! Only available in black, but can be painted to match your interior with flexible paint. Knee pad as found on select 1968 Mercury Cougars. This grade A version will not be separating from the metal strip. Not a common option, your Cougar would have a line of mounting holes across the lower dash and above the glove box if your Cougar originally came with a knee pad. Perfect fit, easy to replace and will be a great upgrade over your original scratched and or pitted knob. To remove, reach behind the dash and locate the small, round spring loaded button on the top side of your headlight switch. Depress the button while firmly grasping the knob and move back and forth until it releases. Reproduction inner radio knob used on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with a factory center console and measures 1-3/8 inches tall. Replaces part # C8ZA-8A932-B

This set of reproduction used knobs is for 1968 Cougar / Mustangs without factory console. The exception to the rule would be the XR7G. Cougars equipped with a console need the longer version of this knob to clear the padded console face. If you happen to have a 1969 or newer radio then the radio has longer shafts and these knobs may in fact work with a console. Used lower knuckle for the tilt / tilt away steering column found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This unit will not interchange with the 1967 tilt / tilt away. You will not realize how yellowed your original is until you put it next to this new one. Correct for XR7 or standard 67-68 consoles. Note, these install much easier if you trim a small sliver off each of the four mounting tabs with a utility blade.

Used on both the speedometer and tachometer lens. Comes with plastic keeper / washer that connects it from the backside of the lens. Sold individually, two required per cluster. These are in used condition as shown and need restoration. This item may require epoxy. The mounting stud on rear may not be present. It is plastic and originally melted over.

*NOTE - These knobs are NOT in the original Ford packaging, they were bought in bulk from a supplier who did not provide packaging. This style of knob was used on almost all Ford products starting in 1968 and continuing on through the late 1970's. The latest renditions in reproduction form are actually pretty good but for the purist these make a nice touch.
