383278-S 1/4-20 Nut with spinning or captured washer, sometimes called a swivel nut, for attaching various door window components for 1970-1973 Cougar and Mustang bolt-in door glass. This nut was used to fasten the guides into the 1970 bolt in glass. Additionally this nut was used for attaching the window channel bracket to door and quarter glass on the 1971-73 Cougar and Mustangs. This is a new or reproduction part from AMK.

This is the round metal threaded disc that attaches the D0ZZ-6523258-A bushing to the door glass brackets. About 1-3/4" in diameter, two each per door glass on a 1970. 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang use 3 of these for retaining the door channel bracket. Keeper or retainer for attaching the convertible top cylinder pins. These are usually broken when replacing convertible top cylinders. One retainer per side.Ford Part # 372552-S These are not a exact replica of the t-bolt retainer, but will work for a replacement for the retainer on the T-bolt on the door windows (T-bolt Ford Part # C8SZ-6523274-A).  Ford part number for the retainer is C7SZ-65234A28-A.

These inserts snap into your window elevators, four per elevator, eight per door for a total of 16 per car. Often the originals are worn down from lack of lubrication which will cause your door glass to rattle. The originals were more of a clear plastic, these are white in color.
