The basic Ford part number is the same for all three years C7OZ-2B091-B. We have found very early production 1969 Cougars with pressure control valves having a casting number of C8OA-2B091-A. With two factories building Cougars in 1968 and early 1969 there is no telling what would be the correct changeover dates. The bridge between 1967 and 1968 production would likely be the same. We have to price the 1967 marked pressure control valve at a higher price than the 1968 and 1969 units due to their higher demand and rarety. Only 14% of all 1967 Cougars received power disc brakes. In 1968 the rate shot up to 42%, and the 1969 rate continued to rise up to 60%.
