This was really worth the money. I needed a new lens, and the face on my clock was a little faded. This clock looks great. The lens is clear, the face looks like new, the clock's accurate. Well worth the money. Refurbing my clock would have cost almost as much, and I probably couldn't get near this quality look.
I remember watching a TV show (I think it was the Simpsons), showing cars moving down the assembly line and the last step before the car ran off the end of the line was where the guy came to break the clock. My 67 XR7 has been in the family since new, and I NEVER remember the clock working. The "incorrect" quartz movement is a small price to pay for a clock that actually works!
I LOVE IT!!!! Perfect, great, original looking, beautiful clock. Reminds me of when I took my 1967 rally clock to the Merc dealer for repair (32 years ago!). Price-shmice...totally worth it!!!! I thought it was a deal. Find a 68 original hood-scoop, then talk to me about price. lol
This clock is a little costly, but once you see how sharp it looks... you can't stop looking at it. It plugged in perfectly.
