This is one of the hardest clips to obtain on any year of Mercury Cougar. Two required per bezel for the three bezels located on the passenger door and the two bezels in the back seat. Do not pry your bezels off or these clips will break rather release the clip with a small screw driver by inserting it in the rectangular hole on either side. There are two of these insulator plates used on the driver side master control switch. Sold individually.

Four required per car, used only on the driver side master power window switch, must have carbon fiber insulator in between the two plates.

Our turn signal switches are made on the FoMoCo original tooling. If you have replaced your sequential unit in the trunk with one of our new solid state sequential units and are still having problems then the turn signal switch is most likely the culprit as the only other part to the system is the wiring harness itself. This plastic socket is very brittle and almost always breaks when installing a new door jamb switches. Does not fit cars with Warning Group with door ajar option. Simply install by carefully breaking the old brittle plastic socket apart with pliers to free up the wire leads and plug wire leads into the new socket.

Used power steering oil cooler for many 1971-73 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars with air conditioning. Specifically these came from 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustangs with factory installed air conditioning and power steering. This unit mounts to the top of the A/C compressor. This installs inline with the low pressure return hose.  Manufactured by the Blissfield Company and has a Ford stamped number of D1AA-3D746-AB. The Ford engineering number is D1AZ-3D746-D.
