We have created all of the components needed to economically install the steel nutsert or Riv-nut for the exterior mirrors that mount to the car doors. Our steel Riv-nut uses a 1/4 inch hole. Retainer or keeper for door hinge pins on all 1968-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, plus most all other Ford products with a typical door hinge pin. The factory installed the hinges with the pins driven in from the bottom as viewed with the doors installed. Most restorations install the pins from the top so that gravity holds them in. Regardless of what you may have been told, this fifth switch found closest to the dash is not a power door lock switch rather it is to "lock-out" the power window on the passenger door and the two windows in the rear so the passengers cannot operate their power windows via their individual switches. Treat this switch with care (try not to ever use it) and lubricate it. These are very delicate and hard to obtain. Ford number stamped on the side C9AB-14A695-B.

This is one of the hardest clips to obtain on any year of Mercury Cougar. Two required per bezel for the three bezels located on the passenger door and the two bezels in the back seat. Do not pry your bezels off or these clips will break rather release the clip with a small screw driver by inserting it in the rectangular hole on either side. Keep in mind that if you have the original motor mounts in your 1967 with a 289 or 1969-1970 convertible these mounts will not work. Nobody sells motor mounts for them, period. This is contrary to what every auto parts store will tell you.
