We recommend converting to the non-evaporative 1970 49 state tank, unless concours is desired. The related evaporative components tend to shrink and crack over time and allow fumes to enter the trunk and cabin areas.
Conversion requires 1970 49 state style filler neck and filler hose. We prefer local pick-up only on these as we cannot ship anything that smells like fuel. We can have them boiled out but this is expensive.
