Description: This is the best made, most correct Mercury Cougar trunk mat on the market (Mustang mats will not fit). Made of heavy die-cut vinyl with correct gray and black plaid pattern for 1967 - 1970 (Large image) and gray speckled pattern (Smaller Image) for 1971 - 1973. Do NOT confuse this with the light duty mat you will see elsewhere listed for the same money or less. The pattern will not smudge or wear off easily like some and it will lay flat and fit perfect the first time. The budget mats are made of light duty table cloth material and have to be glued to stay in place. *NOTE* 1969 - 1970 Convertible mats do not have any covering to the right of the gas tank. This is in fact how the originals were made. Many Convertible owners prefer to have a full cover mat. If that is you we suggest you purchase the coupe mat for your convertible. | |||
