Used passenger side (right hand) horizontal quarter window moulding / trim. They were used in conjunction with the door trim on XR7 models only. Located at the base of the quarter window and mounted horizontally on XR7 convertible models only. Due to the difficulty in obtaining trim we no longer sell these without first having you send us your cores.

Nice reproduction of the convertible boot moulding for the 1971 - 1973 Ford Mustang, but also works on the 1971 - 1973 Cougar. *The Cougar originally would have had a different contour and a painted black stripe down the length of the moulding.

This D3ZZ-17830 rubber strip is actually intended for a 1973 Ford Mustang rear bumper but properly modified they do work nicely on a 1973 Cougar front bumper that requires impact strips. These are "substitute" parts and will involve bending them to the contour of your bumper, trimming them on one end and drilling three holes in your bumper. This is the stainless steel trim for the front of the boot that attaches to the upper, back side of the back seat in a 1971 to 1973 Cougar and Ford Mustang. This is a very hard part to come by in good shape.
