For 1971-73 Mercury Cougars and Ford Mustangs with the 351W engine manufactured after 10-26-1970. This is a Pitts manufactured pulley and clutch assembly with a pulley diameter of 6-5/16", a clutch diameter of 5-1/8", and an overall thickness of 1-11/16 inches. Ford part # D1OA-2981-A. May also have part numbers D1OA-2981-AA, D1OA-2981-A1A, D1OA-2981-A1B, D1OA-2981-A2A, and D1OA-2981-A2B.

This A/C vacuum canister mounts to the passenger side shock tower and controls damper doors inside the A/C unit. This unit includes a built in check valve. Used and tested vacuum tank and bracket, also known as the A/C vacuum reservoir. Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. Ford offered the 1973 Mercury Cougar hood emblem in two versions as a service replacement part. It is very rare to find them new in the box with the chrome center hood moulding, usually they are found without the chrome. This was found at the Spring 2007 Ford Carlisle show. C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.
