This area of the door often cracks due to the stress caused by worn out hinges. Retainer or keeper for door hinge pins on all 1968-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, plus most all other Ford products with a typical door hinge pin. Used door lock and trunk lock cylinder retainer clip. Not exactly the same as the door lock clips.
