The function however is not as good as original but adequate and usually will work for years. If you find that this tube has too small of fittings for your OEM 4150 / 4160 Holley carburetor than what has happened is that someone has replaced your transfer tube and fittings with one of the after-market kits available at speed shops. This is the ONLY correct transfer tube for a Cougar equipped with a Holley from 1967 - 1970. Replaces Ford part # C9AZ-9H576-A.

Even if yours is not cracked it will be hard if it is over two decades old. We highly suggest you replace this part if yours is in fact hardened with age because a minor rear end collision could cause it to fail and send fuel spilling into your trunk area.
