Description: After waiting several months, these reproduction 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar Deck Lock (Trunk Lock) covers are now finished! The reproduction chrome cover shown here sports a very rare original Ford, NOS XR7 decal. The NOS decal is different from our reproduction in three subtle areas. First the number "7" is a darker, richer color, second the decal fills the recessed area better and third the detail in the black area is a little different than our reproductions. We have a limited number of these covers with the NOS decal in place. This would is a nice touch of quality over our reproduction decal for the guy that is doing a high end restoration. Very few people are ever going to notice the difference but sometimes the extra money spent is worth it if only You notice.
This shaft is crucial. To insure a perfect fit and to be a durable part this had to be an "exact" duplicate of the original. You are going to be thrilled with the quality of this part!
