1968 XR7G Emblems Long Since Obsolete From Ford | ||||||||
Description: The later run XR7G emblems we offer are really quite nice but they are all just a tad smaller than originals. This is almost impossible to detect unless you have a reference point. The lock cover does in fact provide a reference point in that if you use a new emblem you will have a noticeable gap around the perimeter of the emblem. In years past nobody really was concerned but now that the XR7G can be worth six figures in pristine condition it matters... I put a used emblem behind this NOS emblem for comparison sake. We refer to the emblems found in original Ford boxes as NOS (New Old Stock) because they have been obsolete from "Ford" for many years. | ||||||||
