A grade pad has not shrunk to the point that the center section will not fit well, it will not be curling and overall will be pliable. We rarely have more than a couple colors on hand but if you state your preference in the comments section we will try to accommodate.

The originals hang at a slightly different angle than the reproductions. Comes as shown with original rubber insulator. New rubber available upon request. Our grade "B" rods are just as straight as our grade "A" used rods but the will show pock marks from rust after you clean them. One can fill and sand but it will take time. These are still a better value than the Chinese rods we sell.*Note - 1970-73 strut rods work equally well.

Reproduction concours weave black rear interior panel windlace that helps hold the rear interior panels in place. It is also known as the pinch weld moulding. Used T shift handle, originally an over the counter Mercury dress-up accessory. The only Cougars that came from the factory with this real wood shifter were the 1970 Eliminator and 1968 XR7-G. Nice used original Rotunda, over the counter dealer accessory. Stainless steel construction, weighs just under 8 pounds with hardware. Spindle nut kit for the 67 - 69 Cougar or Mustang. This 3/4-16 threaded nut fits most of the 1967-69 brake spindles. The exception would be some of the Boss 302 and some 428CJ equipped cars. Included are nut, cap, washer and cotter pin.

Mercury Cougar shift handles never came covered in real leather from the factory but what a cool upgrade! We sell a lot of these and the feedback has been great.
