We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version... NOS GT-E Fender badges. Sold as a pair, driver side shows a C7WX-16099 casting number and the passenger side shows a C7WX-16098 number.

This Mercury script emblem is mounted onto the driver side fender extension. This is an original part still in the Ford box, engineering number on the back of the emblem reads C7WB-16098-A, Ford part number is C7WY-16604-A.

There are several differences between this NOS decal and the good quality reproduction we offer. First off the red "7" is darker, second the "XR" is more brilliant, third is when you run your finger nail over the tiny raised ridges the reproduction makes a audible zip sound and the NOS does not, fourth is there is no adhesive backing on the NOS decal and there is on the reproduction, fifth is the reproduction is made of a much heavier aluminum stock than the NOS and lastly the NOS fits in the...

This adhesive plaque was placed in front of the shifter on XR7-G models with a factory installed four speed manual transmission. The XR7-G shift knob had a walking Cat on the face of the knob instead of a shift pattern.

This emblem was used on the driver side of the 1971 - 1972 Cougar hood and on the passenger side of the trunk lid in 1967 - 1968. After waiting several months, these reproduction 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar Deck Lock (Trunk Lock) covers are now finished! The later run XR7-G emblems we offer are really quite nice, but they are all just a tad smaller than originals. This is almost impossible to detect unless you have a reference point. The lock cover does in fact provide a reference point in that if you use a new emblem you will have a noticeable gap around the perimeter of the emblem. New replacement J-nut or they are sometimes called U-nuts. These clip into those square holes in the fender aprons for fastening the fenders on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. These clips are 5/8 inches from the hole center to folded edge. We also see the same clips with 27/32 inch spacing for fender mounting. Numerous other uses, we find this clip on the hidden headlight buckets on 1967-68 Cougar and XR7's.

This fits behind the door panel and is needed to install your remote mirror correctly.*NOTE*1969 Cougar owners do not need this part as it is built in the the chromed plastic, rectangular bezel on the door panel.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Inner front bolt, long length to clear sound deadener. Used in conjunction with a thick, gold spacer washer.

Used on front re-tractors, two per side on either side of the re-tractor mounting hole. Used to prevent rattles.

Used seat belt bolt washer for the Mercury or Ford.

Used stamped nut for attaching the tail light bezels to the tail light housings. This is a 8-32 nut, with a 11/32" hex and is intended for the 8-32 threaded studs attached to the tail light bezels on any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar. These little clips are what were used to fasten the dash face pad to the dash bezels on a 1968 standard or decor level Cougar. They are very difficult to come by and we have yet to find a suitable substitute. We suggest that if you need more than a few of these clips that you consider using strips of adhesive Velcro in lieu of these clips as Velcro holds the fragile aluminum trim more evenly against your bezels and is easier to install and remove for future maintenance. *NOTE* There are 13 of...

Concours correct dipsticks for 1967 - 1969 big block engines. These are exact reproductions of the originals with the proper length and oil level for these big block FE's. They have all of the correct markings including the Ford part number and recommended oil weight. Each dipstick is finished with a show quality chrome handle capped with the correct plastic plug. Famous 'Cal Custom' aluminum finned oil pan that was so popular throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's. It has not been available for years, but it is back again. Pan is made from all new pressure die cast tooling and then fully machined to offer a precise fit and leak free installation. These look great in combination with the Finned Air Cleaner and Valve Covers. Replaces Ford Part #: C5ZZ-6675.
