Original used FoMoCo lower rear window channel which we will cut to suit your needs. Quite often vinyl tops will cause rust in this area and this cut is from a rust free Western parts car. If you need the package tray attached there is no extra charge but shipping costs will increase. We usually cut generous into the quarters and several inches up the sides of the rear glass. You may consider buying our grade "B" door over our grade "A" door if you are doing a high end restoration. Here is the reasoning; due to the design of the 69-70 door, silt is trapped in all of the door corners, these tight recesses always have silt collected in them and when you add moisture you get corrosion. Our grade "A" doors do not have noticeable blisters but since there is no paint or sound deadener in the depths of the corners we know there is some amount of corrosion taking place...

Rubber coupler for connecting the drive motor and the geardrive for operating the ASC factory sunroofs. American Sunroof Corporation started using this shorter connector sometime in late 1968 on the very early 1969 cars. ASC power sunroofs (technically moonroofs since they had solid covers instead of glass) were offered on many new cars such as Mercury Cougar, Lincoln Mark series, Ford Thunderbird, and many Mopars or Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth cars.

This shim, also referenced to as washers, goes in the clutch portion of the drive gearbox to properly adjust the friction. Three shims (plus a hand crank) were originally supplied with sunroof cars.

These are the same left to right, convertible or coupe. These appear to be made from the same thickness of aluminum as original and weigh .44 pounds as opposed to .50 for the originals but the aluminum used is not nearly the quality of originals. You can literally mutilate these parts with your fingers as you would an aluminum can. We recommend the premium quality sills. These are a poor reproduction that will not hold up well over time, we cannot recommend this part. We HIGHLY recommend...

Ford never made these in stainless but what a great upgrade! The advantage we see with these is that they do not dent or scratch as easy when you release your seat belt. They also can be polished easily (unlike anodized aluminum). These weigh 1.5 pounds each, triple of what the originals weigh. This area of the door often cracks due to the stress caused by worn out hinges. This twelve piece kit includes six screws and six form fitting washers to reinforce the recessed areas that often crack. Used driver side (left hand) complete door latch assembly for the Mercury Cougar XR7 or Ford Mustang with door ajar option. This unit goes inside your door and catches on the door striker assembly on the door jamb. Tested and inspected for excessive wear. These are the screws that secure the door latch mechanism to the door shell. These screws come with the attached crown headed lock washer, just like the originals, so be sure to tighten them down snugly to ensure that the screw head sits flush into the screw holes.
