1967 Mercury Cougar

Full set of metal radio knobs for the 1967 Mustang or Cougar. Not for use with the 1967 Cougars equipped with factory center console. Keep in mind we have reproduction knobs that will work in place of these.

The early Cougars had a lower profile head on the outer knob. It is assumed they beefed up the design in early in the year because the knobs were easily broken. These delicate plastic knobs are very hard to find in this condition. Only the utmost purist would care to obtain a trivial detail part such as these to make their car correct. These deeper knobs were only used in cars equipped with a factory center console. The Mustangs did not have a padded console in 1967 so this set is for 1967...

Used steel lateral support bracket for 1967 Cougars and Mustangs with the S code 390 engine. Similar to the more commonly found 68-70 bracket but different in multiple ways, most noticeably is the lip on the 1967 "C" shaped area points outward (towards the radiator).
