If you have a 67 the woodgrain decals are the correct size, the 68 uses a little different design with a black border which is not available new. The woodgrain is not correct for either 67 or 68. We would highly recommend getting our burl wood applique, it is still not correct, but is much closer and nicer than the woodgrain this comes with. These NOS sill plates always have some degree of shelf wear due to the many years they have been shuffled around. The biggest difference you will see with NOS vs. the two different levels of reproductions is the finish. The NOS parts are far less bright and less prone to showing hairline scratches. One other benefit is that NOS sill plates already have the FORD decal in place. Sold individually.

These interchange left to right, they are a mirror image of one another. We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version... This kit was sold by Ford Service Departments back in the day for those who were tired of their manual drum brakes. This kit includes all you will need to convert your six cylinder Mustang or V8 Cougar / Mustang from manual to power drum brakes. This emblem was used on the driver side of the 1971 - 1972 Cougar hood and on the passenger side of the trunk lid in 1967 - 1968. Also used on various other Mercury products like the Comet, Cyclone, and Marquis prior to 1973. This will not fit on the fender extension of the 1967- 1968 Cougar. This Mercury script emblem is mounted onto the driver side fender extension. This is an original part still in the Ford box, engineering number on the back of the emblem reads C7WB-16098-A, Ford part number is C7WY-16604-A.

This adhesive plaque was placed in front of the shifter on XR7-G models with a factory installed four speed manual transmission. The XR7-G shift knob had a walking Cat on the face of the knob instead of a shift pattern.

Rare Cougar only GT emblems. The Mustang GT emblems had different stud locations. These were used on 1968 Mercury Cougar GT models.  This emblem shares the exact same pin locations with the 1968 6.5Litre emblem, so the factory could punch holes and installed the tubular nuts in the fenders of all S and X code Cougars, allowing either emblem to be installed. Regardless of what you have been told these emblems were never chromed. We do not have any of these in stock, probably will not get any more but we post this so as to give you a reference as to what color they should be.

Very rare more common version of the XR7-G steering wheel gold plated emblem. This is very different from the run of the mill used emblems we have all seen with the brass electro plating worn off. The burnished version was apparently done first: Ford part number S8WS-3849-A and this much more common gold version done second which carries a Ford / Shelby part number of S8WS-3849-B.
