| Description:
These are bolted to the rear frame rails and were used to tie the car down to the transporter for the journey from the factory to the dealer. The dealer was supposed to remove them and return them for a credit as instructed by the dealer notice sticker on the rear license plate frame (decal is available in the decal section). Many sets slipped through as the dealers often forgot or did not deem the small credit back worth their effort to remove. These are great for transporting your car on a trailer or for the guy trying to achieve concours levels of correctness on his car. The 71-3 4V cars use a longer style than these. They come as taken from a parts car and will need to be cleaned up.
