This is the exact same cut of sound deadener as the tar based sound deadener, but cut out of the foil heat shield rather than the paper backed tar. The foil heat shield weighs over 20 Lbs less than the paper backed tar when cut into the same pattern. This aluminum backed, tar sound deadener with adhesive is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick and works well behind door panels, at the firewall and under the headliner as a sound, heat and vapor barrier. 1967 - 1973 Cougar Logo Rubber Floor Mats - Used Dark chocolate brown, correct for Cougars equipped with Saddle, Ginger, or Tobacco interior. Notice this set is the version that is a couple of inches narrower so it will fit well with the addition of convertible inner rockers.
