Basic power steering pumps, (i.e. pump less pulley, dipstick, or reservoir canister on the back) according to the rebuilders, fall into several categories:

• 1967-1969 pumps with centered high pressure port on back..
  
• 1970 pumps with off center high pressure port on back.
  
• 1971-73 pumps which used the hydraulic steering boxes.
