Standard belts can be identified in 1967 by the plastic lift up female buckle. Deluxe belts are identified by the metal female buckle that are released by a center button. All xr7 models had deluxe belts in 67, deluxe was optional in the standard models. This is the very best we can offer. No cracks in the plastic holster, good color and no fraying on the webbing, good chrome on the male buckle and it may even have the date code tag still in place. This is a one year only, Cougar only part. I do not care what they told you down at the "Mustang Mega Barn", Cougar is different as it has mounting holes at the top and Mustang does not. The Mustang cover has no mounting holes at the top and resembles the 1970 cover. This nice used original part will have no broken tabs as seen on our grade 'B' version. This grade 'A' part will include two metal clip-on spacers as shown. 1970 is the only year 69-73 that Mustang and Cougar column covers interchange. You will need to paint this part to match your interior.

This used original part will have a broken tab so you will have to use a over-sized washer or some other clever means of properly attaching it to the underside of your dash. This grade be part will not include the metal spacers seen on our grade 'A' part. This is a restored 1968 steering wheel that is correct for all but the later production, standard interior equipped 1968 Cougars.
