Our turn signal switches are made on the FoMoCo original tooling. If you have replaced your sequential unit in the trunk with one of our new solid state sequential units and are still having problems then the turn signal switch is most likely the culprit as the only other part to the system is the wiring harness itself. The relay under the dash almost always is weak (pulsates dimly instead of distinct blinking) but its sole purpose is to illuminate the directional arrows on the dash and does...

NOTE!!!! This offshore switch is assembled with plated steel rivet contacts as opposed to brass rivet contacts like original. Whereas the Torino or Mustang do fine with 2 incandescent rear bulbs the Cougars with 6 bulbs put too much load on the switch and they fail. The only way these switches will hold up in a Cougar is if you convert to LED. These differ from 68-69 in that there is no starter safety switch embedded in them. This is a used part, tested, lubed, and working. There is an active thread on the Classic Cougar Community Forum discussing tilt columns and trouble shooting.
