Used lower steering column knuckle for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This unit is used in the 1970-73 tilt only column and can be the issue when you have a sloppy feeling tilt column. The hard steel pin will often waller out the soft cast metal and cause play in the column. This is the closed cell foam cover for your power steering lines to keep them from getting scuffed, and they repel oil quite well too. These are always disintegrating on the older cars and need replacement after 40 years of service. this line length can be cut to fit easily on a split line like the Cougar. This is a restored 1968 steering wheel that is correct for all but the later production, standard interior equipped 1968 Cougars. Only the XR7 & XR7G received the woodgrain center section, the decor and standard interior equipped Cougars received a color coded to the wheel vinyl insert. Please email us for color on hand, rarely do we have more than one grade A in stock. Grade A will have almost no warping or lifting issues, soft and pliable and will not need repaint. Very hard to find, one year only part.

Good used pad available in most colors, please let us know which color you need in the comments section and we will try to accommodate. Grade B pads will be lifting at the top, be a little warped and have some missing texture where your thumbs often ride at 3 and 9 o'clock.

There are three of these rubber, glue on pads attached to the chrome horn center of every 1967 Cougar. The colored pads usually need to be repainted and we cannot guarantee to have all colors in stock at all times. Good used pad that will most likely need to be repainted unless it is black. Not hard and crispy looking. Comes naked as shown.

B grade pad has shrunk to the point that the center section will not fit well and you may have to file some of the plastic away for a proper fit, it will be curling a little at the top where it meets the wheel and overall will be rather hard from UV exposure. Additionally, it may show some signs of wear to the texture of the graining. If you state your preference in the comments section we will try to accommodate you on color.
