Used vented fuel, or gas cap as installed on 1967-69 Mercury Cougar and 1970 cars without California emissions. Also fits 1969-70 Shelby Mustang. In 1970 California required a non-vented fuel cap. Used emergency / parking brake assembly for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang and is as removed from a West Coast Cougar organ donor. 1969 had a weak design and the release levers were prone to bend and break off. 1969 used a T shaped chrome release handle and 1970 used a black plastic T shaped release knob, which generally aren't interchangeble. This reproduction emergency / parking brake idler bracket welds to the under side of the floor on the driver side (left hand) of the vehicle and has the factory spec pin.

This passenger side (right hand) reproduction emergency / parking brake cable idler bracket mounts to the right front floor pan. The idler bracket is often discarded when the floor pan is removed for replacement. We also have good used units in stock for those that desire 100% correctness.
