Ford calls this part a 'mask'. This clamps to the chromed lever and holds the socket and bulb that are attached to the neutral safety switch, which are the shifter indicator light for the floor shifter. Manual control shift linkage assembly for a floor shift FMX transmission in any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Comes as shown. *Note - this will not work with a C6 transmission.

Linkage arm that attaches to the windshield wiper motor that is unique to the 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. These are marked 1Z, among other things the slot is specifically indexed for the 1971-73 Cougar and Mustang application. This is basically an installation kit that includes: linkage arm, flat bushing, wave washer, and nut. The order of installation is flat bushing, wave washer, linkage arm, and lastly the nut.

*NOTE - These knobs are NOT in the original Ford packaging, they were bought in bulk from a supplier who did not provide packaging. This style of knob was used on almost all Ford products starting in 1968 and continuing on through the late 1970's. The latest renditions in reproduction form are actually pretty good but for the purist these make a nice touch. Exact replacement inside door handle nut, trunk lock nut, and hood scoop nut. Same finish as originals. 10 of these are used to mount the 68-71 hood scoop found on the 68 428 CJ, 69-70 Eliminator, 69-70 428 Ram Air equipped Cougars and 71 GT and 429CJ. Two of these per door are used on the 69-70 inside door release. Two of of these nuts used to attach 1967-68 Cougar trunk locks.

Reproduction power window lock out switch for all 1969-72 Mercury Cougar and most all other Ford - Lincoln - Mercury cars with power windows in the 1969-72 time frame. Regardless of what you may have been told, this fifth switch found closest to the dash is not a power door lock switch rather it is to "lock-out" the power window on the passenger door and the two windows in the rear so the passengers cannot operate their power windows via their individual switches. Treat this switch with care (try not to ever use it) and lubricate it. These are very delicate and hard to obtain. Ford number stamped on the side C9AB-14A695-B.

Used locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column. This unit works in conjunction with a pin and is responsible for locking the tilt column in place. In many cases, the pin tends to move out of place and break or chip the teeth of the locking pawl. We have found that 3 of 4 tilt columns that we have disassembled have locking pawls with broken or chipped teeth. These units will be mint with no broken or chipped teeth....

Short rubber valve stem and cap for Ford wheels or any steel wheel with a 0.453" hole. Snap in style, sticks up 2 inches from wheel surface. These will work with all of our aftermarket Ford wheels especially with trim rings. These have the Dill 627 caps. Same as the 1960's cars.

This part is installed on all XR7 fuel sending units and Cougars and Mustangs with the optional Convenience Control Package. Low quality off shore part that requires soldering to your fuel sending unit. This is a temperature sensing device that activates when the fuel level drops enough to expose the unit at which point the circuit is closed and the low fuel light comes on. Commonly referred to as a Thermister / Thermistor / Low Fuel Sending Unit.

Reproduction reinforcement plate designed to weld onto the lower control arms. Sold individually, we are not sure that you would want to even buy one of these. They don't fit very well, and are not contoured to any lower control arm on the market. You will be bending these to fit, prior to welding. *Note - This is a non-returnable item. 

You can use 1968 up to 1973 lower control arms on a 1967 only if you change the strut rod to the 1968 - 1970 style. We have the strut rods available in both new and used form. This set contains two bushings that measure 1 9/16 across the leading inside edge, and 1 5/8 across the outer rim.Note: These larger diameter bushings were used on Ford service replacement lower control arms. Typically found on Ford supplied lower control arms without the welded on jacking tabs.

Used chrome moulding that attaches horizontally to the bottom of the headlight bucket. Driver side for any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar. 1973 used a different casting number but the parts are exactly the same. A grade will have nice chrome, and maybe one minor blemish. We consider these 'show quality' rather than 'driver quality'. We do offer a B Grade version of this part, and always have them in stock.Replaces Ford part number D1WB-13B167-AB and D3WB-13B167-AA.
