This is actually not correct for a 1968 but it is all that is available in reproduction. The 1968 front is actually the same 4 1/4" length as the rear. Many people prefer the longer version as it makes it easier to roll up. We do have good used 1968 front cranks for those who prefer to stay with original. We often will have B grade knobs with less than great chrome plating for lots less money. For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. We also stock and carry the correct disc or hold down plate, and the J bolt. Lots of sizes and lengths for those. Do you have the correct one?

Good used solid panel with all parts removed. Panel measures 19.5" x 39". Whereas at first glance these may all look the same, the contour of the roof changes with the body style changes. Call us for price and availability on panels with varying degrees of repairable rust.

Used front license plate bracket in Grade A condition. Grade A will, not have creases, cracks, or damage of any kind. The 1969 reproduction bracket, which mounts directly to the front valance, is what we recommend for a reasonable priced substitute. 100% complete top frame as removed from a 69 - 70 Cougar. These tops are identical to Mustang with the exception of the rear bow being slightly higher on a Cougar. We carefully break this down by removing the header and crossbows and placing the original bolts back in the holes.
