This is a very specialized screw that you do not want to fail or make do with an incorrect fitting or stripped screw. When removing your old screw you will most likely have to pull your pedal assembly and have a perfect fitting screw driver to remove the screw as the factory put them in very tight!

Reproduction Vent Frame Bolt Kit 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang

Used on the retractors.

These spacer / washers were used on the rear belts of 1968 - 1973 Cougars. 1968 used two per bolt for a total of eight, 69-71 used one per rear belt for a total of four and 72-73 used one per belt on the inner only as the outer belts had a re-tractor in the rear 72-73. New 8-32 set screw for the rear window crank handles. Fits 1968-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Allen hex size of 5/64".

New pan head screws for installing the automatic console shifter bezel. Sold as a set of 4. Used in conjunction with the 3 metal strips to attach the automatic shifter bezel. Correct black pan head Phillips screw. *HINT - The metal strips can be made from any strips of steel, they don't really need the edges folded if you don't cinch them down too tight. Metal strip should be 1-11/16" x 5/8" with a hole in the middle.

Pictured is a complete set of 1967 Hex bolts, spacers and washers. We will make sure they are damage free, rust free, and a complete set removed from the same year of Cougar as yours. There were minor and major changes almost every year so you will want to select the right year. Rear seat belt bolt, four per car used in conjunction with two red washer / spacers. 13/16" hex head, 1-1/4 inch bolt with a 3/16 inch shoulder. Strong "A" on this one as shown. There is another version of this same bolt with a light "A" or smooth head and no markings. See related items.

Good used original seat belt bolt. There were a few different variations of this bolt, some were stamped with a D with triangles, some with E and three triangles and others had no stamping at all. 13/16" hex head, two inch bolt with a 7/8 inch shoulder. 

Used to mount the front retractor to the inner rocker panel. Used in conjunction with a large washer. 13/16" hex head, 1-1/2inch bolt with a 1/2 inch long shoulder. May or may not be marked with a letter "C".

Not 100% correct, but close and functional. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969 - 1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall. Sold as a box of 100.

Bolt for installing the front inner and outer bumper brackets to frame rail, and rear bumper brackets to body inside of trunk. Sold individually, 8 per car.

This clip is the same as a door panel clip with the exception that it does not have the foam spacer. This clip was used on the 1968 XR7 overhead console, 1967 - 1968 xr7 and standard model upper and lower console pads, seat back access panels and several other applications. We will not send you mangled junk that is heavily rusted but they will require some amount of straightening due to their vulnerable location.
