Good used grommet that seals the heater hoses and A/C lines where they pass through the firewall on the passenger side. Made from a spongy rubber, attaches to the heater core and seals the firewall from the inside. This grommet does not use a retaining bracket like previous years. Will be intact, but will show some degradation as shown in the picture, most evident where the heater core tubes pass through. Engineering # D1ZZ-19B588-A.

This is the 1.37" X 1.66 X .31 plastic grommet that goes inside the trunk to protect the trunk wires from rubbing the edges of the sheet metal body. This grommet was also used for the hood light wiring under the hood.

If you own a 1969 Cougar you will need to look at the configuration of the evaporator lines. During the 1969 model year this grommet bracket changed to reflect the running year change. These are reproduction heater hose grommets for the heater hose to pass through the firewall. Most of the firewalls that we have seen have a flared opening for the hose without a grommet. Save your hoses, buy some grommets?

Good used detail item that is often missing and is also correct for Mustang. Copper grounding strap. We have noticed that 1971 cars typically have a hex head screw, and the 1972-73 straps were attached with a hex head screw.
