1971 Mercury Cougar

1971 - 1973 Convertible spare tire mounting, J bolt. MPC lists the total length as 9-1/2 inches long, and 5 inches threaded. Application is for hubcap type wheels only, those of you fortunate to have the style steel wheels need C8OZ-1448-A above.

Cast iron pedestal mount for the air conditioning compressor on all 1970 Mercury Cougars and Ford Mustangs with the 351W H code 2V engine. Ford also used this bracket on other 1970-71 Ford passenger cars with 351W engines only.Ford casting number D0AA-2882-E.

These are the U-shaped brackets that hold the round part of the rear sway bar. These mount to the rear frame rail. All 1970 - 1973 Cougars should have these mounting holes from the factory, 1969 and earlier Cougars do not have these holes. Two clamps needed for installation.

Reproduction mounting bracket. This is the mounting plate for the end links on the factory rear sway. Mercury Cougar 1970-73 only, this is not a Mustang part. Chromed engine oil dipstick as found on all 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 429CJ engines (C or J Code). Top of the shield to the dip stick is 16.23 inches. The handles were chromed originally. Ford part # D0OZ-6750-B, Ford casting # D0OE-6750-B.*NOTE* This is not the same dipstick as found on garden variety 429 and 460 engines.

Famous 'Cal Custom' aluminum finned oil pan that was so popular throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's. It has not been available for years, but it is back again. Pan is made from all new pressure die cast tooling and then fully machined to offer a precise fit and leak free installation. Used oil screen pick up tube assembly from a 1970-74 small block 335 series, or 351C or Cleveland Ford car. This is for front sump oil pans. Good used single sheave pulley for the alternator on the 429 Cobra Jet.Ford Part #: D1ZF-10A352-AA.

C9AF-10A352-A or -B Alternator pulley for use with only one drive belt. Just under 2-3/4" inches in diameter. This later version would have a casting number of C9AF-10A352-A or possibly C9AF-10A352-B stamped on it. Ford master part number is C5AZ-10344-K like the above pulley.
