1970 Mercury Cougar

Cast iron pedestal mount for the air conditioning compressor on all 1970 Mercury Cougars and Ford Mustangs with the 351W H code 2V engine. Ford also used this bracket on other 1970-71 Ford passenger cars with 351W engines only.Ford casting number D0AA-2882-E.

Cast iron construction similar to the 1969 bracket but with a design change for 1970. We suspect that the change was made for the new pulley and bracket arrangement starting in 1970. Ford part number D0ZZ-9B450-B.

Bracket that mounts in both the rear Carburetor mounting holes of all 1970 351 Cleveland 4 barrel engines with stock Autolite 4300 carburetors. Has the square hole that holds the factory throttle cable. Replaces Ford part number D0OZ-9741-B.*Note - Not for use with 351 Windsor engines.

Bracket mounts to the intake manifold. With square throttle cable mounting hole and return spring mounting hole. 1970 only, bracket that utilized the two raised mounting bosses cast into the cast iron 428 Cobra Jet intake manifolds.

Bracket that holds the throttle cable for the G code Boss 302 Cougar Eliminators. This is a 1970 part number, it is possible that the 1969 bracket may be either different or had a C9ZZ-9741-? part number. Will update when we verify, comments welcome. 1970 Ford part number listed as D0ZZ-9741-A.

These are the U-shaped brackets that hold the round part of the rear sway bar. These mount to the rear frame rail. All 1970 - 1973 Cougars should have these mounting holes from the factory, 1969 and earlier Cougars do not have these holes. Two clamps needed for installation.

Famous 'Cal Custom' aluminum finned oil pan that was so popular throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's. It has not been available for years, but it is back again. Pan is made from all new pressure die cast tooling and then fully machined to offer a precise fit and leak free installation. These 20 gauge panels are 24" long, 15 1/4" wide and a 5/8" flange that butts up against the inner rocker. Great for the person doing a "Correct" restoration on their 1969-70 Cougar / Mustang / Shelby.
