This seat riser / platform is specific to Mustang, but if you're "vertically challenged"....you may want to go ahead and use this part on your Cougar. It'll raise your seat up enough so that you don't have to use phone books anymore!

The knobs for the seat track release to adjust the position of the seat. The reproduction has a slightly deeper divot where you place your finger, and is slightly more round on the bottom, but a very nice reproduction. Replaces Ford Part #: C5AZ-6261753-BA.

These are often cracked or collapsed causing your seats to lean back too far. One kit does one seat, two kits required per car.*NOTE* Don't discard your original screws! The screws supplied with this kit have a head that is just slightly smaller than original so when you really tighten the screws down the head goes right on through the stop! The bench seat brackets are slightly different than the bucket seat brackets. Our premium grade used tracks are carefully inspected for damage before shipping. Most likely you will have to paint but rest assured we do not sell heavily rusted tracks. One set is enough to do one seat, mounting hardware is sold separate. Clean original FoMoCo parts like these in the end are almost always a better choice in the end even if they do require some elbow grease to look as new. Ford master part numbers...

This Grade B set will need clean up and servicing but will not have cracks, broken studs or excessive rust. Fits all 1967-70 Mercury Cougars including convertible, and 1965-70 Ford Mustang. Used kit includes C5ZZ-6561704-F, C5ZZ-6561705-F, and C5ZZ-6561726-A. Note that many of the 67's do not have the rectangular plate in place as seen here. We have a separate listing for those if you want to match your existing version.

This reproduction knob set is made by Scott Drake Enterprises. Unlike our knobs, these units have a much larger font. Considering the average Classic Mustang owner is probably 50 years old or more, this was a pretty good idea to do them in this manner since the originals are rather hard to read while driving. If you want user friendly, then this is a very nice upgrade. If you want correctness, then our other set is what you will want. Either way, we got you covered.
