These are the caps placed on the inside of the rear marker reflectors to protect your trunk's contents from damage. These Reproductions are grey. Nice reproduction rear body side reflector as found on 1968 Mercury Cougars. Used on Montego / Cyclone / Cougar for the 1968 model year. Good used light with no pits or scrapes. Does not include lens or pigtail with socket, does include mounting bracket with two nuts. The chrome body carries a C8GB-15A428-B engineering number and the pigtail has a C8WB-15A442-A engineering number imprinted on the wire. This grade "B" light bezel will have minor blemishes in the chrome as shown. Good part for a driver as it will not have deep pits. Does not include pigtail or lens. Left is the same as right. To remove pigtail from your existing light wrap socket in cloth to protect and grip firmly with a pair of pliers, rock back and forth while pulling and the plug and socket assembly should come right out from the back side. Replaces Ford part # C8WY-15A201-C.

Ford never offered this socket / plug assembly on its own but we do from time to time get one that has a clean socket and no cuts in the wiring. You can often just twist and pull (after the bulb has been removed) and it will come right out of the chrome housing. The Ford engineering number imprinted on the wire is C8WB-15A442-A.

Replaces Ford part #C8WY-15447. Sold as a pair, two required per car. Right is the same as left.

This kit is similar to the original type mounted in every drivers side door. These OEM style Riv-Nuts will be a challenge to install unless you have the special tool.
