Original passenger side sway bar mount for your LATE 1968-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Nice original, removed from our better cars. Metal cleanup needed, we cut these a little generously to protect the bracket. Two versions available in 1968. Both curved and straight cut, even on the same car. Original part number is 5A483. The MPC and other manuals refer to this bracket as: reinforcement and mounting bracket for front stabilizer bar. One per side, this is the passenger side only....

According to the MPC 1970 primarily, a few 1971-1973's. If you have a hardtop or coupe, (VIN numbers starting with either 0F91 or 0F93) and standard wheels with hub caps. Or, any 1971 - 1973 with style steel wheels. Total length is 6-1/4 inches, with 4 inches being threaded. Threads 1/2-13. We find this bolt to only have 2 1/2" of threads. This used original Bendix spacer bracket is mounted to the rear of the brake booster on the 69 - 70 Cougar and Mustang. These spacer brackets sometimes come up missing when purchased from discount booster rebuilders. If you get a booster that has a piece of plate steel and spacers in place of this stamped steel bracket, it is a go around (homemade). This plate differs from repro in that the mounting holes are the correct size and it has the correct relief spacing for the input rod dust boot....

Our used lower cradle brackets for the 24" wide radiator will always have some amount of damage as shown. We will not send you mangled junk that is heavily rusted but they will require some amount of straightening due to their vulnerable location. This kit includes the 4 fine threaded "T" shaped studs (with nuts) that mount the backing plate to the spindle and the plate that goes on the inside of the backing plate. These are used parts that are not damaged or corroded, taken from a Western parts car.

C5AZ-10A370-C Alternator mounting spacer, goes between the cylinder head and alternator housing. Fits 1968-70 390-2V, 390-4V, and 428CJ engines. Smog OK. There is no casting number but one is listed C5AE-10A370-C. Inside diameter 7/16". We measure them out at 1-5/8 inches long, supposed to be pink anodized or tinted.
