Concours? almost, these are stainless steel screws with the wax tipped coating like the originals, for installing the door sill plates. The wax was deemed necessary by the Ford Motor Co. as a seal. Sold individually, original glove box cable screw with shoulder. For any 1967-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Probably many other Ford and Mercury cars also.Ford part number 379202-S2.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Used in the latter part of 1967 and all of 1968 and 1969 to fasten the upper column cover to the column. Early 1967 used a chrome version of this screw.

Set of 11 screws for fastening the taillight bezel to the taillight housing on the 69 - 70 Cougar. This set is enough to do one bezel.If you bought the reproduction 69 or 70 taillight bezels, remember that they don't come with screws.Earlier year taillight bezels used mounting studs, but the 69 - 70 bezels screwed in from the housing to the bezel. This is a common panhead screw that can be found at your local hardware store brand new.

Driver side seat back release assembly, can me used for a conversion of 1970 high-backed seat backs for use in 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator and Ford Mustang Mach 1. This assembly has the release lever mounted nearly at shoulder level, factory 1970 high backs have the latch release at the hinge. Both deluxe and standard use the same retractor in 1968 - 1969 and left is the same design as right. Grade "A" retractors will show no fading or cracks on the holster / retractor cover, good chrome buckle and may even still have the date code tag sewn in place. This is a complete set of Deluxe (chrome bands on buckles) safety belts removed from a 1969 hardtop minus torx bolt hardware. The set consists of two front retractors (they are not side specific) that measure 22" fully extended tip to tip, four lap belts bonded in pairs with the shoulder portion measuring 45" and the lap belt portion measuring 30" total length. The two male rear belts measure 20" and mount next to the rear interior panels and the female buckle side measures 36" fully extended....

This dealer option was installed for people who were not comfortable with the height of their seats. This same kit was used on many intermediate Ford Products from 1965-1970. The Cougar used a seat riser that was about one inch lower in height compared to the Mustang so as to compensate for the more plush foam and upholstery.

Used plastic sheath that covers the bolted buckle end of where your shoulder belt attaches to the roof section of your car. Sometimes when removing the bolt from your shoulder belt, this sheath will tear if the plastic has become stiffened. This 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390 / 428CJ's were being dropped in. Mercury Cougar shift handles never came covered in real leather from the factory but what a cool upgrade! We sell a lot of these and the feedback has been great. Very hard to find 69 - 70 Shelby / 67 - 69 Cougar 4 speed shifter knob. Almost a year in development was spent to get as close as possible to original N.O.S. sample. These very rarely come up for sale used and when they do, they are expensive. Knob insert is made of metal just like original not brass.
